We built GlucoSpike AI for that exact moment. And with version 3.0, we've made it dramatically better.
Why We Rebuilt It
Since launch, thousands of you have used GlucoSpike AI to understand how food affects your blood glucose. The feedback was clear: the idea was right, but the experience needed to be faster, smarter, and more complete.
So we went back to the drawing board. v3.0 is not a patch โ it's a ground-up rebuild of every major feature. Here's what's new.
2ร Faster Meal Analysis
The most common piece of feedback we heard: "It takes too long."
We re-architected the AI pipeline from scratch, switching to a newer generation model and eliminating the bottlenecks that caused delays. The result: meal analysis now completes in roughly half the time of the previous version.

Macro Tracking โ Proteins, Fats, and Carbs
Understanding glucose impact is only one part of eating well. You also need to know what's actually in your food.
v3.0 adds full macro tracking alongside every meal analysis. Proteins, fats, and carbohydrates โ broken down per meal and accumulated across your day. No manual logging. No separate app. It's all built in.
Post-Meal Walk Timer
One of the most evidence-backed ways to support steady blood glucose after a meal is a short walk โ even 10 minutes makes a measurable difference.
v3.0 introduces a built-in walk timer that activates after you log a meal. It's a simple nudge, but it builds a habit that compounds over time.
Smarter Food Recognition
Real food is messy. Mixed dishes, regional cuisines, homemade meals โ they don't always match a clean database entry.
We've significantly improved the AI's ability to recognise complex and mixed dishes, with particular improvements for South Asian and Indian cuisine. If GlucoSpike AI previously struggled with your meals, it'll do a lot better now.
A Better Dashboard
The redesigned dashboard gives you a cleaner picture of your day, your week, and your patterns over time. The glucose impact score is now color-coded using rounded values so what you see always matches what you feel.
What Stays the Same
The core principle hasn't changed: know before you eat, not after.
GlucoSpike AI is not about restriction. It's about awareness. When you know how a meal is likely to affect you, you can make a better choice โ or enjoy it fully knowing exactly what it is.
How to Get v3.0
Android users: v3.0 is live now on the Play Store. Open the Play Store, search for GlucoSpike AI, and tap Update.
iOS users: The App Store update is on its way โ we'll notify you as soon as it's live.
If you're an existing subscriber and your access looks different after updating, go to Settings โ Subscription โ Restore Purchase and tap Restore. Your subscription will be reinstated automatically.
