Readings never reach the AI

That is not a copywriting choice, it is a consequence. The AI cannot comment on a reading it has never seen. That judgment belongs to you and your doctor, and the app is built so it is never in a position to make it. Ask a general chatbot the same question and it will happily give you an opinion.

You can photograph a meal and ask what is in it, and the estimate will usually be sensible — GlucoSpike uses the same model for that step. What Gemini does not do by itself is keep the result. No dated meal list, no rubric holding today's answer consistent with last week's, no verified database behind packaged products, and no place for your own readings. Those get built around a model, not inside it.
